Now up on the 1320 Records website is a new podcast featuring some tracks the label will be releasing in the near future. It features works by Flying Skulls, Nalepa, Bass Science, Virtual Boy, Eskmo, and a few other artists on the label. I can’t forget to mention that STS9 kicks things off with their latest studio creation “Atlas” which will be released on their newest album “Ad Explorata” that comes out in November. Have a listen below.
The boys from EOTO have decided to give the fans a nice little pre-Halloween treat! They have released a quality 30 minute mix from a show last spring in Kalamazoo, MI. It encompasses a lot of their recent sounds and is a good example of the direction the band is heading.
Check it out below:
Santa Cruz, CA based electronica band STS9 graced the Minneapolis area with their presence this past week. Making an appearance at First Avenue, they kicked off a hot night of electronica in the Twin Cities. To begin the festivities newcomers Big Gigantic played a set of their Jazz influenced electronic hip-hop to a crowd that loves the fusion of horns with spacey psychedelic music. After that STS9 followed things up by starting their set with “Arigato” as well as “Blu Mood” and their newest single off recent album Ad Explorata called “Atlas”

Looks like the month of October will be a hot one in the Minneapolis area as four popular electronic acts make their way into the city. On the 8th we have a double shot of elecro fury when STS9 plays First Avenue and then EOTO starts round two later in the night at the Cabooze. I don’t know if they collaborated in scheduling the shows but it will be a great night of music however it ended up working out.
STS9 @ First Avenue starts at 6:30pm. EOTO @ the Cabooze starts at 9:45pm. You can get tickets for both events below.
